Hello everyone
I am Lonnetta J. known to some as Tink. I am a native of Washington DC and currently residing in the state of North Carolina. I am the founder and owner of Nail Boom by Lonnetta J. as well as a chef/caterer for many ocassions. There are many skills that I have acquired over the years from doing nails, hair, cooking for many ocassion, making clothes, creating looks, styling, exectutive assistant, business managent, youth counselor, being a mentor, writer and a researcher. My passion is not set on just one task or a simple background and that alone can be much on anyone yet I manage to be me in any and every area of my life to my best ability and I am always looking for ways to advance and to grow my busniess ventures. I am a person with many many ideas and I love to think of new ones and ways to accomplish those goals. This has been a long time coming and I am very proud of myself for finally opening up and venturing out into the world. For many years I have designed nails and created nail design images for nail salons and I fell in love with the reactions and the responses that I received. This pushed me to become more knowlegable of nail care and its anatomy so I finally decided to go to school to accomplish that goal. I am one to believe that when I speak I want to speak knowlege and truth. During my studies, one of our tasks was to create a presentation of nail designs and to create a business name, obatain business card and a business email with 10 goals that would implement your business and growth. That is where I created the name Nail Boom by Lonnetta J. and listed my goals and I complete all of my hours and went before the state board to become a licensed professional. In the midst of it all, I still maintained my daily tasks of catering for events and networking until one day I decided to really put it all to a plan and start a business and ways that it could grow and stay interesting. I even began to do pop up shops even though at first I did not know what to expect. Now that I have started Nail Boom by Lonnetta J. I want the world to see me and my business in the light of it being beyond nails and that everthing I love from the smallest to the biggest, my goal is to give you a piece of me. The funny thing is many may not know that in high school when I worked at McDonalds to save money for college, they used to call me Boom Boom and that's how long I actually have been saying this word as a joke or at the end of a sentence for no particualar reason and my definition of Boom is simple, it really means whatever I want it to at that time as a replacement. SO NOW BOOM!
